About

Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page.

My name is Daniela. I’m currently living a nomadic life, travelling Australia with my son in our little retro caravan. Our main purpose of travelling is to explore and learn about our beautiful country in the most organic way….seeing, feeling, smelling, sensing…simply being present in nature, and engaging with communities through volunteer work. We are both passionate about the environment and environmental issues, and do our best to have a minimal impact on the earth. With a degree in social science, I am also a passionate fighter of social justice, equality, and social change (particularly regarding the environment, biodiversity and sustainability).

This blog is going to be full of stories; our stories, other’s stories, and the stories of communities and nature. As much as it’s going to be a creative outlet and platform for my passions and concerns, I hope it also, in some small way, inspires others to make changes in their lives, to follow their dreams, to live true to self, to be connected to their communities, to care more for others, and of course for the planet.

Our days travelling consist of homeschooling, spending as much time in nature, hiking, exploring, and of course meeting and chatting to people. Our homeschooling ethos has a strong emphasis on Australian Indigenous history and culture, nature, science, and community engagement. We are always looking for opportunities to give back, and to grow and learn through helping others, services, and communities in any way possible. So if you know of any good causes that need a helping hand please let us know!
